01Directly related experience
Help with this section

Experience related to your B.C. job offer
Count eligible paid experience within the last 10 years. Part-time employment counts at 50% of its duration. The work must be in the same NOC, or qualify as directly related under the guide.

At least 1 year of that directly related experience was in Canada.
Requires authorized work for a Canadian employer: 12 months full-time or 24 months part-time. Student work counts only if it was an eligible paid co-op term.

I currently work full-time in B.C. for my supporting employer in the offered occupation.
You must hold valid work authorization. Unpaid work and an offer for a future promotion do not qualify.

Where did you complete this highest credential?
The location bonus applies only to your highest credential, not a lower Canadian credential. Language training and distance learning do not qualify.

Eligible designation
Your offered occupation and designation must match one of the choices above and the BC PNP guide’s table (page 54). ECE Assistant certificates do not qualify. You can claim this 5-point bonus only once.
